Step-by-step guide
Presentations
This section outlines how Presentations in TPD PRO define market-specific versions of a product and are managed within the Submission editing process.
What are Presentations?
Presentations in TPD PRO represent the market-specific variants of a product — for example, how the product is packaged, labeled, or sold in different countries. Each Presentation includes:
The brand name
The national market (country)
The launch date (in most cases, 6 months from the submission date)
A single Submission can include multiple Presentations, each tailored to a specific EU Member State.
How Presentations Work in TPD PRO
Presentations are linked to a specific Submission
Each Submission must contain at least one Presentation
Each Presentation includes unique parameters such as:
Packaging details
Brand name
Brand subtype name
Launch date
Withdrawal indication (if you intend to remove the product from a specific market)
Where to Add or Edit Presentations
⚠️ Presentations cannot be added directly from the Presentations section.
They must be created or modified within the Submission editing workflow.
To add a Presentation:
Go to Submissions
Open an existing Submission or create a new one
Navigate to the Presentations tab
Click “Create”
Enter the following details:
Brand Name (e.g., Elf Bar, Mask King, Crystal)
Brand Subtype Name (e.g., Watermelon 20mg, Ice Mint 10mg)
National Market (country)
Launch Date
Packaging File (uploaded in File Manager) — required in Finland, Belgium, Estonia, Latvia, and Spain
Click “Save”
Presentations Section — What You Can Do
While you cannot create new Presentations from the Presentations module directly, you can:
Browse and filter all existing Presentations
Search by brand name, country, or Submission ID
Export the list to Excel for audit or reporting purposes
Edit an existing Presentation by clicking on it — this will redirect you to the Submission where it resides
Reusability & Flexibility
Presentations are submission-specific, but their structure allows for quick duplication within a Submission
Presentation data is used to automatically calculate ingredient quantities and track emissions per market-specific variant
Best Practices
Ensure each Presentation accurately reflects the requirements of the target market (e.g., correct language, health warnings, packaging laws)
Avoid duplicates by using clear, descriptive names (e.g., “UK – Elf Bar Mango 10ml 20mg”)
Leverage filters and exports to efficiently manage large product portfolios across multiple markets
