Step-by-step guide
Brand Names
This section explains how Brand Names are used in TPD PRO to label products and associate them with specific Presentations within Submissions.
What are Brand Names?
Brand Names are the commercial names under which products are marketed and sold. In TPD PRO, Brand Names are used to define how a product is presented to consumers and authorities in different submissions and markets.
Each Presentation must be linked to a Brand Name and National Market, ensuring consistency across product variants and EU-CEG submissions.
Why Brand Names Matter
Required field in product presentations
Essential for correct product identification in EU-CEG submissions
Enables management of multiple brands under the same Submitter
Ensures traceability across products and regulatory filings
Use Cases
Submitters managing multiple product lines or white-label brands
Companies submitting to multiple markets under different brand identities
Tracking changes or updates to brand-specific packaging, ingredients, or emissions
Add a Brand Name
Go to Brand Names in the left-hand menu
Click “Create”
Enter the following:
Title — The brand name (e.g., Elf Bar, Mask King, Crystal)
Click “Save”
✅ You can add as many Brand Names as needed. Each one will be available when creating Presentations.
Reusing Brand Names
Brand Names can be reused in multiple Submissions and Presentations
Editing a Brand Name will automatically update it across all linked presentations
Best Practices
Use a consistent naming convention (e.g., by region, market, or product line)
Avoid duplicates or brand name typos by managing names centrally
If your product is marketed under different names in different countries, create separate brand entries per market
